What did you do to your car today?

I'm still undecided on it lol. I won't be painting it, my alloy bonnet has a nasty dent right in front of scoop, so I will keep an eye out for one... Don't think the alloy is easy to repair.

If the car was a standard car I wouldn't attempt to put it on, be trying to keep the original "rally" look.. But it's gone so far down the road now away from its roots, I don't really mind it I suppose...

Noz and neons are on order in Halfords Tommy :)

I don't mind it, is that car like 400+ bhp? If so it suits the mad power

As for alloy bonnet repair it takes a special touch, polish fellas in my job did a perfect job on my bonnet and it was nasty

It was 490 or something like that, we will say 460-490, I'm hoping it's a bit more now do:) feels more anyway :)


The paint is broke on the bonnet, so bonnet will need a respray... So rather than have fillers in it that might crack in future, I might just try get a good bonnet and paint that...

There is also the idea of cutting the hole centre out of bonnet and fitting a Dmax type vent, at this point I no longer need to take in air through the bonnet, getting the warm air out through the bonnet is a better option..

She's come along way since i first joined the Forum, respray/ machine polish, new back bumper, new plates, new clutch, new belts, plenty of other little bits sorted too.

HKS Hi-power silent performance exhaust, and full A'pexi intake, front recaro's, and swapped out the rear seats fo black leather to match, all thats missing is black leather door cards (hopefully) and an aftermarket momo (as i'm quite tall and the standard is a big stretch for me)

85,000 miles, and just nct'd until May 2015 :D [flew through it last week ;)]

not that i'd dream of selling her, but what do ye reckon she's worth at the mo?

Busy day today, clean and condition leather seats, long over due. Gave the car a decent wash and polish. Hasn't got that probably since last summer! Couldn't find my wax so need to buy some new stuff but the Autoglym super resin polish is great at filling those light swirls and makes it look half decent again, but yeah time to start putting money away for respray, she needs a fresh coat all round!
