Great to see the track cars forums moved to public,I can now refer to ISDC instead of Backroads for public viewing, positive move well done lads[emoji106][emoji106]
Just done a few small bits this evening.
I got some mesh for my new grill and started to get it sprayed and ready for fitting.
I know this paint won't last pissing time but it's nice to be nice.
I have used acid etch primer this time so it might have a little better bite.

I'm going to touch up all the old yellow mesh while I'm at it,and fit some mesh behind the new air holes I have drilled.

Fitted some new bulbs in the Angel eye lights and got them wired up,not needed but they are adding 3 or 4 bhp for sure[emoji106]

Also have the front wheels off to get the tyres removed so I can respray the them, they are well black from over heating last year.
My last job then will be getting the four new AO48,s fitted.
The new gear shifter has yet to be fitted, this could be an awkward job and may have to drop the box again[emoji848]
Unless I can drill the selector arms in place for the new ball end things!!! [emoji45]

Really really taking shape.

can you run fake headlights.

Like a picture print on bit of perspex like rallycross or do they need some function?

Yes you can run inserts no problem, only lights needed are brakes and rain lights as far as I know for future classics.
But I think it's no harm to be seen if it's raining and your full of the pipe down the inside of some lad[emoji16]
