Swift sport track car

Cool , I?d love to give it a go .
Half cage is grand for what you?re doing and the power of the car , should stiffen things up nicely, would an x bar across the 2 wheel well pick up points be of any addition? Or even just a harness bar?

Its a bit decieving in the pick i posted as the rear legs are the shorter ones going to the rear strut towers front hoop is bolted at the floor and again through the top brackets into the original b pillar seat belt mount points so this should help keep things square and the harness bar runs parallel across the rear
I have 32mm and 25mm tubing i plan to make rear bracing and front tower brace

After many days ofvgetting nothing done finally a productive day
Painted and cage sat in
Seats are ready too so just gotta mount a few eye bolts for the harnesses and they can go in

Also stripped out all unnecessary wiring from the cabin loom airbags speakers and so on and taped it up fully before refitting

Well at lat i have a day out lined up in this wee yoke
Not the conventional track day but a cheap day out at least for now
Alltrack up in craigavon are running car days at ?60 from 12 till 4 track is a mix of concrete tar and gravel so will be slip sliding about
Grooved a few rally tyres i had aquired for a bit of extra bite these have really tough walls so will take some beating above road tyres
New helmet bought and cars ready to go loading up tomorrow night for away saturday morn cant wait

:clap: Good man all the hard work paying off now time to enjoy it now  let us know how it goes

Well the day out up north went well some crac was had for 60 pound was more autocross than track day but the swift stood up to as many laps a could throw at her
Had recut a set of rally slicks for the front and they worked really well power down to pull out of the corners and any lift off or braking the ass came round nicely in the gravel
Lots of mx5s a few micras one was turbo one a nicely prepped starlet 1.5
Only issue the whole day was an exhaust rubber snapped
Was a harsh course on the car once it started to cut up and i doubt any of ye would put your pride and joy through it but the days crac was worth if met lots of new faces and all were very welcoming mad to get out now on tar to see how she goes there
No cobwebs in her now
