Swift sport track car

Small progress this eve
Picked up a set of avon semi slick tyres a week ago also refreshed an old set of rims i had of an mr2 to fit them on
New brake discs up from pads all round and dot 5 fluid going in
Praying for dry weather or i will be on road tyres

They will be fine in the wet if they are soft or medium compound [emoji1303]
 
Mondello track day finally came around
Met up with barry and headed on in
After a quick check in and ogle over a few cars in the museum we had an hour or so to pass managed to miss the sighting laps and was straight out onto track at 10 needless to say the first few laps were eventfull done 4 or 5 and then came in for a quick look over the car
All was well so out i went again a little harder and a little too confident had a bit of a spin mid lap but gathered it up and off again
Took me way to long to get the hang of the place and find any decent line through the corners but with every few more laps i was getting there
The wee swift was perforning well got no mercy all day and was pretty quick no fading brakes or any real issues
One small niggle gearbox was getting stiff after lots of laps but change of oil shoukd sort that i didnt even check it beforehand my bad ????
Was getting 85mph on pit and back straight
Which seemed pretty good to me
Was great days crac and barrys company much appreciated will be back again soon with a few more mods now i know it can handle some thrashing
 
Kev , was great craic and thanks for letting me do a few laps in the car , great craic , better than my own yoke as you can just keep it pinned everywhere.

Well the swift has moved on to a few new owners I think your all on here
Enjoy she did me no harm and has the ability to take a beating on track many more miles of track fun to be had

It's time I got stuck in to my next track toy

Cool little machine , Joe, Gordon and myself will enjoy it .
Thanks again Kev and no problem coming down to do a few laps in it any time .
