I thinking I might have to do regular updates on this car, we only have it a week today, and it's creating a bit of a stir! It's just brought the nct centre in Waterford to a standstill this morning! πŸ˜‚

Hi Lynn,

Congrats on the purchase, I was the guy in the showroom looking at it the same day you were. As I said, when you sat you in it, it suited you down to the ground. I must ask the lads for some commission on that sale πŸ˜‰

overall this is 10x the car compared to the rusty stuff guys are wanting similar money for. I can see why you didn't hesitate to buy it.

Looking forward to seeing some updates. Best of luck with the new Scooby

Sweet. What size engine is it btw? 2L or 2.5L?

If I may ask, and not trying to overstep, what's the tax like on those as from my limited knowledge, any Sti past 2008 with a manual gearbox is over €2k to tax and I am guessing that the auto ones are less?

We were hoping the auto would be less!!! Tax is a killer, it nearly made me not buy the car to be honest, our government are thieves, but I couldn't leave it there

Tax is a right pain! Savage car tbh and rare as to find one on the road here. Can't wait to see it in the flesh at some meet next 😁

What Zero/Sports stuff is on it? ;)
We're not sure! We didn't want to make too much of the badge when we were buying it in case they upped the price πŸ˜‚ it looks like there's three stages of ECU tune from Zero Sports and going by the colour of the badge, we have the middle one, we have a date now for the remap in July so we might be able to shed some light on it then, either way the badge will be staying πŸ˜‚

Maybe it has some other engine supporting mods for the ECU also. ZS do a lot of exterior and interior mods.

The si drive 3 modes feel like 3 differant maps . But in fact there just different settings in the same map
intelligent mode 50% throttle
Sports 75% throttle
Sports sharp 100% throttle response
πŸ‘ still a very good system and a very noticeable differance when switching between them

We got some of the auction purchase photos today, not surprised to see it's a Grade 4, nice to have these, I'll have to get a nice folder now to keep everything in πŸ˜‚inbound1034247225642435376.jpginbound1034247225642435376.jpg
