Great work dec that’s a nice lump in the car now nice to have the knowledge to do it to.
Could you enter this car in a particular racing class similar to what Adrain does or would it only be a weekend track toy
your like a little mad scientist with that KA . it has to be one of a kind at this stage with all the modding done to it and the colour scheme is cool aswell . fair play to be able to do it all yourself . tis a credit to ye . id say she will embarriss many a bigger car when on track .
Cheers man I love it to be honest it's very unique as a track car. The whole reason I picked the ka as a project was that I knew it could be a great track car they handle great standard and the only thing it has ever lacked is power, this should fix that issue [emoji6]
I'm hoping for 180bhp that should get me 240 bhp/ton
Haven't updated this in a while as I have been a lazy c**t over the winter but thanks to Adrian giving me the kick I needed I got back at it with his help and started into the wiring.
When I removed the puma engine I decided not keep any of the wiring in the car and to build a complete new loom so
With Adrians help we have the engine bay loom sorted and now I'm going to be making a start on the interior loom fuse box etc.
I also recently picked up a set of wolfrace prolite wheels for a bit of a bargain. And I had a set of yokohama ad08r that I bought from Adrian so stuck them on today not sure on the black think I prefer the orange might need to paint these what's people's opinion [emoji848]
Got a good run at more wiring today and now have the engine bay loom fully wrapped and I made small securing brackets to limit vibration on the loom installed a heavy duty relay for the cooling fan. Ran the starter wires and fitted the main distribution block for the battery cables. I then made the fuse box for the interior and wired some of the relays. Last job was to mount the ecu securely which is also now complete.
When I get more time I can complete the wiring and hopefully it fires up. I'll keep ye posted [emoji106]
