Track Day, Mondello Park Friday 22nd of August 2014

Got two new pirelli corsa c hard compound tyres for the ka but I'll probably get the last out of the yokohamas first should be fun

Did the brakes on this , checked fluids and its ready to go

Was down for a few hours today with the kids
Looked like a great day that eco was a quick car
Red Porsche was savage also
 
had an absolute ball today fair play to baz and ash for organising the day ,the poor little ka was subjected to 186 miles around mondello embarrassed a few on the way to a best time of 2.08 cant wait for the next one :leggy2 :clocks:
 
186 miles!!!! That's the equivalent of almost 15 laps of the ring in a day, some achievement!!
Brother called in for the afternoon said it looked like a great day, mentioned the ka flying around embarrassing "faster" cars!!
Fair play baz, mondello will hire you yet!
 
ha never taught of it like that eli :multijump: it is a lot but it never missed a beat super reliable not even used a drop of oil

2.08 in the ka? Wtf? That's fast, chassis must be very well set up, well done!


Edit: just checked the specs on your backroads thread, a048, puma 1.7, extra camber, the time makes sense. My best effort in my rs turbo was a 2:14 on old r888 and road spec camber. More camber and fresh tyres and the cars would be an excellent match!
 
Thanks to Baz and Ash for another great day out. The weather was fantastic. The Escort behaved impeccably and was a ton of fun,thanks to a few tips from Wagon Dec. :thumbsup:
My only video lap was pointing skywards so i just binned it. My other camera had no memory card so i banjaxed that up too lol. :booboo:
