Track day car

This thread just always makes me want another Saxo again
they really are such a fun car to drive ,great Craic especially for getting around Dublin love em :thumb:

I love this Saxo I drive it like a stole it but first thing I do when I get it home is wash it put it back in the garage and make a list of everything it needs before the next outing, hopefully this will insure it's it's life once I don't put it in the wall[emoji1]

About 3 years abo a 1 owner 106 gti came up on donedeal with 60k miles on it
I decided to spend the money on something else and always regretted it
as I think if you have a clean one of these there going to start rising once the bads ones are gone wich isnt far off :thumb:

3 to 4 k ain't mad money to spend on a hobby at all when ya break it down over the time your at it . Easily spend that keeping a scooby in top order .

106 would appeal to me as I had one years ago and would go well enough with simple mods .

Washed buffed and polished for Saturday's rally Sprint in Mondello, even Boulie got in on the action[emoji1]

Another event done today with the Rally sport association in Mondello and could not be happier with the little Saxo it never missed a beat all day.
Have to say thanks again to Dec for sorting my tracking at such late notice because it made a huge difference and the car handled perfect.
So out of 129 cars I placed 38th overall and 5th in class 4 with 23 cars so needless to say I was delighted[emoji1]
Have a few photos here and I'll have videos later[emoji51]

Video from the Sprint in Mondello yesterday, small delay at the start the marshal made a little boo-boo and let the escort out in front of an Evo going like a train,in fairness I wouldn't like his job ya would need eyes in the back of your head[emoji50]this was my best run stage 7 and I missed a gear on the main straight[emoji19]
