Track day car

Bit more work done with the Saxo over the weekend it's mainly getting weight out of the car and so far I have got 1200g out from stripping away unwanted metal and wiring.
Also some sound proofing around the bulkhead has been removed.
Next will be to remove the sunroof and replace with a light weight blank.

I needed to fit an external battery cut off switch I picked this up in Murray Motorsport during the week and was a handy job to do.

Did you do any more with your cage?none of the lads were in murrays the other day just the mother,so I didn't get any cage info for u.

ye I did a test fit and its goin to take very little modifying to fit it in you would sware it was for a ka ,ill get the main structure in then ill add the door bars

My next little job will be starting soon'got myself a gearbox from a 1.1 Saxo ratios and final drive look much better,not quite as good as a 1.4 xsi is 1.3 rallie but should be shorter than the vts box and might shave a second or two off my lap times"before I blow it up[emoji1]only 49k on the box so should be a good one..

Adjustable top mounts made up today this hold get me more camber[emoji1][emoji1][emoji1]

Got back to my gearbox job this evening and it's nearly finished,I didn't think it would take so long but it would be a lot easier with a lift or pit.
