Nice machines Johnny and the punto gt is rare , that model nearly all scrapped at this stage .

small update on my non Subaru project, My e55 amg , bodywork all done now and Joe let me use his ramp and gave a hand fitting new suspension all round as they were a bit tired with 104k miles on them, also had it taxed over Xmas there to go to a few events , love it have to say .

Serious machine baz and looks better in person enjoy it a lot of work in it to get it back in amazing condition

My 1995 Gt Punto running around 220 bhp I've owned it since 2000 and will never let her go . Great car loads of trouble will and has done 140 mph what a yoke 🤣👍
140mph  I wouldn't feel safe in that car at that speed :ROFLMAO:
Savage wheels too, really suit the car - looks like a cool, little machine

Looks mint now, I'd say it's an incredible car to cruise around in - having that power is always nice too!

With the legacy wagon only a few weeks away and fuel prices rising, I done what any normal sensible fella would do....I bought x2 big dirty v8's 🤣

Lexus ls400 (uk spec)
Toyota celsior (same but in Japanese)

Now I remember why I prefer jap cars (little,to no rust compared to uk cars)😁

No post is complete without pictures ✌️.

After a “light” underbody restoration, 2 new front wings and a paint job , finally have 3 expensive useless pieces of paper in the window of my w210 E55 Amg.

New brakes all round, new genuine Bilstein/Amg suspension from Germany ,thanks to Joe for helping me and using his ramp , wheels are refurbished and new ps4 tyres all round , delighted with how it turned out

Savage remember a performance car magazine test from back in the day this a tvr and a Supra in Scotland great stuff.

She a keeper Barry? Be a comfy machine to go to Nurburgring 🙂

It would be nice to read that article, kind of a mismatch of cars but the e class probably held its own I’d say.

I’ll be Keeping it for now as it an appreciating classic .
I would love to bring it to the Nurburgring but I don’t think I’d be comfortable with driving it on track , it’s just not that kind of car.

Cracking example and should be good for plenty more years driving with the work you've done. Had a good look around it before cool machine.
