ya there a bit tricky alright but just take out the air filter box for the drivers side ones and the window wash water bottle on the passanger side for a bit more access
 
Got the other plugs changed johnny and problem still there.
Must be the coil pack :dunno:
 
In a desperate attempt to find my problem i decided to pull the leads off the coil pack one by one with engine running.
Im an electrician so overcame the fear.
I strongly advise against this because you get some shock each time you pull a lead off.
Anyway, 3rd lead i pulled off and no spark so i think ive found my problem.
 
Got my new coil pack today.
Ended up ordering it off Subaru HB Dennis in airside, Swords.
Excellent servive, i only ordered it at lunchtime on tuesday and they had it in today(wednesday).
Did the job nicely, great to be back in the car it had been a week since i drove it.

Always wanted one myself and when the oportunity came to buy one i couldn't resist.
 
Yeah it was worse than givin up smoking, havin the car sat outside but not being able to drive it.
