Honeymoons and all that!

So for all you married folk, trying to get some ideas about where is a good place(s) to go for honeymoon. Will be aiming for approx 3 weeks around August , thinking of maybe Mexico and maybe one or two places in the US. Let me know what you's would recommend that has been tried and tested :dance:
 
Myself and the good lady wife went to the Dominican Republic last year on Honeymoon

Got off the plane and had the rollercoaster ride of a life time going from Puntacana to the resort (about 1 hour drive)

Resort was fantastic...... relaxing hot and very well catered.....

would recommend it :thumbsup:

Snap was there 2 years ago nice spot, not so nice outside the resorts though!
 
did 3 and a half weeks in los angelas,las vegas(nevada),south beach(florida) and new york for a week!!!!
absolutely brilliant and didnt see half the things i 'd love to see!!!!

getting a travel plan done up from classicresorts.ie, used them before for dominican republic and they werent too bad. ill let you know what they come up with

Spent a month in the Malddives when we got hitched.
All i can say is WOW trying to get back there asap.
But the fight is 19 hours but its worth it.
Booked it with a place called escape in donabate.

Friend of mine has a site Irish wedding's on line, have a look if you's see anywhere you like let me know im sure he will look after you's.
 
Went to Cancun in Mexico 2 years ago for our honeymoon, unreal spot, loads to do and the night club
CoCo Bongo is out of this world! i think that aug. and sep. is twister season so check :thumbsup: that out
 
I wanna go to the land of the rising sun some time in the next couple of years.....
Supposed to be some great places out there

Heading to Punta Cana in exactly 12 days!! :icon_biggrin:

Where did you stay Hammie... we're off to Dreams Resort Palm Beach. We got an unreal cheap deal all inclusive, 14 nights!

This is the first 2 week sun holiday that I've had since 1987! :eek7:

Can't wait....any advice!
