170 miles with service up till I bought it. The car is running 110% in every way. Any test welcome and can be put up on a lift if required.

So guys if I was to keep the car and going by the list of things above that I have done to it, what would you recommend I do to it next in the performance department.

An anti lift kit and a rear arb and start doing track days

IMO for more power you will need a rebuild on the short block and a bigger turbo but that's going to cost ya

Was talking to Chris in cdf racing already about some stuff. I will have to look at a short block somewhere down the line as I wouldn't mind more power. What sort of bucks do sti blocks go for these days and what heads would I use.

Get STi engine .

Recon it.

And we can sort avcs conversion loom if run on alcatek.

Although is also possible to run o.e. STi ecu also and get programmed to keys and map open source
 
Good man luke glad you're not selling it anymore it's a cracking motor,you could poly bush it using an energy suspension kit like what dec had on his and are reasonably priced
Mcg do them for around 200 so that and the anti kift kit and possibly a whiteline roll centre correction kit would be a fine set up and make it a very capable point to point car as well as class looks

What are they second hand so I can stick a few quid away for when one comes up.
 
luke be madness sticking an used sti lump in unless your rebuilding it before hand :thumbsup: and if you are be prepared for a money pit :icon_biggrin: do the sums first :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
 
Drive her on Luke what's the car putting out now 280 300 Bhp much more than that and your into busting gearboxes and making it horrible & laggy to drive & like joe said a bottem less pit of money

Over 350 Bhp ull need a 6speed box ect ect

Think there's something to be said for being happy with what we got my two cents anyway
