he was only going to be beaten in that fight anyway. Casey would only have trained with orthodox boxers and when he went against a southpaw the only outcome would have been Casey being beaten. The Cuban was a much better boxer anyway. The Cuban boxers are some of the best in the world

Cuban has always been different gravy even in am i no its almost like a different sport amateur and pro. willie definetly sparred southpaws not the reason for his loss. beaten by the better boxer and the fight was takin on too early from his promoters.
 
Willie has only fought 12 times a bit too inexperienced for that guy a few more bouts under
his belt and he should come good :thumbsup:
 
Had been wondering why the Cuban lad had agreed to come over here to defend his title against Casey, Irish crowds is an intimidating atmosphere when there is an Irishman involved, but looking at that fight on Saturday night Rigondeaux was never going to be beaten and he knew that himself. Complete mismatch of a fight at this stage IMO.
