Wheel refurb

So lads and lassies, the good old age question on wheel refurbs.

I have a set of 18” Millienium rev on my car, the tyres need to be changed and the wheels could do with a refurb.

So if I’m going to get them refurb’d and as it seems impossible to get the original gold colour code for the rev’s.

I’m thinking either BBS gold GK1 or the Enkei L920 as a close match ( Ish).

Any other suggestions or any other experiences in this is welcome.

And would there be any issues going from 225/40 to 235/40 with the new tyres.

I had my wheels done by quinn autostyling they did a really good job as you can see from the 3 attached pictures the wheels were very heavily corroded and leaking air, just in a bad state altogether but they brought them completely back to life with a fresh powder coat. I paid 85 euro per wheel (17inch) and it was a 2 day job practically over a weekend.

About the tyres you need to consider 2 things the width of your wheels and if it will clear inside the fender but a 10mm difference usually doesn't cause any issues.

Had my revs painted by wheel wizards years ago, someone on here gave me the code for them.
Not sure if powder coat is the same as paint? Re colour?
Highly recommended if you are near the big smoke.

on wide track I’ve never had an issue with 235 or 225, in 17/18inch
Mine is low too, never rubbed on rear etc.
