What did you do to your car today?

Wheels look deadly Gary. Really nicely done. Can't wait to see them on the car. Defintely imho, the biggest visual change you can do is changing the wheels/colour[emoji4]

With everything happening over the last week or so, I forgot about that I bought a set of wheels too[emoji28]

Tyres: Michelin Pilot Sport 4

It has changed the way the car feels significantly. Compared to the Yokohama Ad08R, they are a lot more comfortable and feel more planted in heavy rain. Its not as sharp as the Yokohama are when at temp on a dry day but I am keeping the Ad08R on the Rotas for track days whenever that happens next. The weight of the Ultraleggera are the biggest thing I was surprised about and makes the car feel a lot more agile imho. I'll report back when I get a few hundred km with them over a few hoons. Been driving the Cupra to commute all of this week and decided to get Michelin Pilot Sport 4s for them in 19s as well as the current tyres on them are wheel spinning even in the dry for the fronts.

A few pictures of the current setup on the Impreza.

So I?ll put you lot out of misery on the heavy wheel vote
I count 4 for revs being heaviest
I count 1 for speed line being heaviest

I?ll let the photos do all explaining just a bit of fun was all. surprised myself

I can safely say I have the lightest alloys , in the prodrive ones I got from Tommy never felt any 18" wheel as light

My wheels are 18x7.5 can't think of offset off top of my head but weighed 7.4kg without a tire....Amazon says a 225/40/18 rainsport 3 weighs 9.2 kg which gives a total of ~16.6kg/ wheel... Unbelievable light!

If they were same offset I'd say the speedline would be lighter.

Serious chunk of metal on back of Gary's wheel compared to mine

I was curious when I got home so I checked revs ppf7s there is an extra 10/12mm of alloy on back that bolts onto to hub on Turini than other sets maybe that?s the difference. not to worry could still get down the road as quick today as any other and the twisty stuff was nice too on way back
