vw transporter cooling problems

08 2.5 transporter always served in main dealership .problem is the cooling fan for the rad is always on.it only started happening friday evening. temp gauge inside is normal i checked the cooling bottle and it was nearly full to the top way over the max mark and it wasn't like that.started it again this morning and turned off after a min and the fan stayed for 20 min even though it was cold . :don't know:anyone any ideas going ringing main dealer in the morning see what the story is .

Sounds to be electrical fault of some sort, maybe the fan switch is stuck on or could be a short on the circuit causing there to be constant power to the fan.

more than likely a relay or sensor is acting up that brings on the fan and is keepin the fans on. Only way is to get a diagnostics done and see what one it is.

there is an ecu seperate for the cooling fan on those yolks!!!!
get it on the diagnostic machine .....its under warranty!!!
