Anybody know of a VW/Audi Specialist that can work on a RS car around the Dublin area? Dropped the car off to main dealer for first service. Nothing but an oil change and pollen filter needed. €629!!!

Don't feel too bad now, I'm using an VAG specialist in ennis for the Golf R, charged 390 euro for plugs, oil, oil filter and pollen filter service and general health check on car. 629 is saucy

Try Larkin Automotive in Finglas. He looks after my Gti and would have all the required software etc.

What RS car is it btw? Love the Rs4 avant 😍

Grahamo?

O'Connor Cars in Jamestown in Finglas. He's an ex-audi main dealer mechanic, so should be able to see you

Yeah Andy - that's a really really nice car.
I'd be a bit careful with non-use of main dealer at the moment...
The car is two new and service outside of main dealer is dodgy in relation to the warranty.
I'm not saying that there's not some excellent independent grease monkeys out there, just beware of voiding the warranty.
That engine is prone to a issue with thermostat failure (happened to ex-bosses 2018 RS4) so just be careful and think about it.
Also - where's the fucking pic's?????

I believe they fixed the thermostat issue with the 2022 model. I'm not 100% sure though. I never thought about voiding the warranty. That's a really good point. I still have a year left on the Audi warranty and in that time it shouldn't need anything. Once the Audi warranty expires I'll be using Independent as main dealer prices are just extortionate.

Audi Exclusive paint (Suzuka Grey),
20' Audi Sport Bronze wheels
Pano glass roof
Bang & Olufsen 3D Sound
Black styling pack
Carbon Interior trim
Heated steering wheel (Hence no flat bottom)
Ambient lighting plus
Massage seats
RS Sports Exhaust

Lovely colour combinations Andy. Just notice on the invoice, why did they only change 4 spark plugs? Or did they just not charge you for 6?

Would check it out Andy as surely if they use genuine parts it wouldn't void the warranty. If you rang either larkin or daltons they'd tell you
