Thought id share a few photos of my Volvo C30 Rallycross car.
I bought the car in Belgium earlier in the year and it replaced my Vauxhall vx220 RX car which was sold to a chap in the UK and is now going to be run in the British Championship.
The Volvo was build by Gunnarson's in Sweden (a well known rallycross car builder over the years) Running a RWD MotorDesign 3.0 16v engine the car produces plenty of torque and is very very enjoyable to drive. Long travel Olhins suspension which is setup very soft as to allow it to move around a bit so keeps you busy... but once you grasp it its really rewarding.
Currently only done some testing and 1 championship round were things were going well until I lost a wheel in the semi final (had a good chuckle about that in the pub that night!)
Plenty of plans for the car as usual with any car that sits in the garage, sequential gearbox should be fitted by the time we get back racing although im concentrating on my 2 door Impreza build at the moment so a lot of rallycross funds are now re directed to the Subaru!
