Ver5 sti VF28 straight bolt on replacement?

As above, car in question is a Subaru sti 1998 ver5 with vf28 turbo, as it is slim pickings for vf28's online, what are my options for a straight bolt on turbo that will just drop in, or am I better just sticking with the vf28 and taking the one refurbished one I could find? Any info appreciated, are any vf28's lying around would be great.

Did you try dave byrne or olly mccarron for turbo?they might have something to suit

Also if anyone knows weather a TD05 16g 8cm Subaru turbo would be a direct swap (look very similar) any info appreciated!
