Right lads Ian Beatty got back to me today. 28th Of February is available for my brothers Remembrance Trackday.

3rd Year in a row for this.

Now I know there is a good few coming up, so to make this happen I need to make up a list asap. I'm trying to negotiate the price for a full day on the National Track to make it a good value for money as Mondellos own public days which is at the minute is roughly a half day (10.30am -3.30pm) on the International Track for €100. On a Full day you will be out on track at 9.30am and finish at 5.30pm so 3 extra hours .

Ideally I am looking for 40 cars/spots to make it cheap and a good day for everyone.

So pm me your name if you are interested , I need to get a deposit of €50 straight away If I put your name down as I need to pay a deposit of €1000 to mondello to hold the date for us.

Extra drivers are €50, passengers are free, and balance has to be paid before the day.

Newbies welcome, you need a full licence and a helmet :happy)

Baz, best of luck with this - hopefully you'll have a great day & its certainly for a great cause.

But, if you're going to use our site to advertise your track day then you need to make it clear to the members exactly what they're getting. You're in negotiations with Mondello on the price? You're talking about the track day stretching to 5.30? In February?

If you don't fill 40 places will the lads already booked have to make up the difference? Is it €100 per head currently?

Hi Brian , thanks Id just like to point out this is not a charity event. As soon as I know the price I'll post it up, just wanted to get a list going.
I filled this the last 2 years in a row and some locals from clane/properous came down on the day to ask could they get out so should have no problem filling it at all . The price given will be based on 40 cars same as previous years and obviously if only 30 make it, everyone ,myself included will have to make the difference otherwise we wont get out.

As regards the times the track time will start 9.30am and finish at 5.30pm same as the previous 2 years.And they were in February also.
I wanted to give some of the lads on here a chance to get out early in the year,I'm not relying solely on the ISDC to fill places.

My reasons for assuming 5.30 was very late in February is due to sunset at 6pm which happens at the end of the start finish straight, low sun etc.

I understand where your coming from but shouldnt be a major problem

OK sadly Ian is not able to come down in price any further so the price based on 40 cars is €130 per car for the full day on the National Track

Costs to rent the track for a full day is as follows;

€4500 + 9% VAT (New Rate) + €300 Public Liability Insurance
Total €5205
Divided by 40 people is €130.12 each, so we'll say €130

25 on the list now lads, anyone interested? I know the ISDC trackday is cheaper but its subsidised by the club.

Have 30 names in for this with 7 deposits taken and one lad paid up in full,so I'm happy this is filling up quick :subaru:

IF THERE IS A SPOT LEFT ILL TAKE IT,ILL HAVE TO GET A CREDIT CARD SOMEWHERE TO PAY .THE CREDIT CARD COMPANY HAVE FROZEN MINE CAUSE I WASNT PAYING IT BACK FAST ENOUGH OR IS THER SOME OTHER WAY OF PAYING
