Track day car

Ya Baz it's one of the regs in club class they try keep the car as close to production as they can,engine gearbox brakes and suspension are mostly free any forced induction stuff in club class get split into two classes within club class,if ya have 1600cc turbo you multiply x 1.4 = 2240 so that's puts you into the over 2ltr class within club.
There is no weight limit that I can see so my plan is get as light as I can to compete with the bigger bhp cars in the class.
 
Got my donor car today has lots of nice bits with it as it was an ex british rallycross championship winning car'full sparco bolt in cage and a competition rear axel with bilstein shocks so a few late nights ahead stripping and rebuilding[emoji15]

Ah or one good one[emoji1]might be selling the 7 AD48 tyres there 14" if anyone is interested 14s won't fit my car with the 306 brakes.
 
Started working on stripping out the donor Saxo this evening got the roll cage out and will start getting that ready for a spray job,also started to remove the rear axel just gona fit this straight on mine as it has the rubber stops removed and is on alloy stops should get mine lower at the back.
There is beilstein shocks on it but I still might keep my AVO adjustable shocks on as there new.

Yea there nuts on the saxos over there huge following I didn't know much about them until I started my project and I'm taking a shine to the little car now.

Different place over there
Car culture is embraced and all that
