A slow weekend so guess the car (make/model).
I was working at a house and I saw this. Apparently the old man had it from new, he passed away not that long ago and they didn't have the heart to get rid off it.
you have the year of registration and the shape as a hint

Saab is a good guess number plate sunk into front bumper. You'd imagine if it had any real value it'd be garaged I'll go with Ford escort
 
Old Bentley, I think there's a bit of a rise in the middle of the bonnet is there?
 
I thought an old Citroen too when I seen the kinda bulge over the rear wheels, you know the one with the arch that covers half the wheel? but don't think so now cause of the bonnet lol
 
Right lads, we have a part winners. It's a Merc E320 as mentioned by Ciaran and Seanie. But to be precise Ciaran said W201 but its rather W124. So agree between yourself who is getting the beer and who the crisps, or you can half them on the next ISDC meet. You also win ISDC forum bragging rights for a week:roll:

I was talking to and older man from the same location he was saying he remembers when the old man bought it brand new from the garage. I've been servicing his house for years and he always had different generation of the E class with the big diesel engine. but he kept the first one. :54:
