Subaru Impreza 1.5R, 2008 Fitted with Subaru impreza 2.0 turbo

One for sale and owner said it passed he nct without changing engine spec and it passed even though nct is gone out for over a year.

My question is if you bought that and brought it for nct surely they notice the turbo engine.
