Sti Engine burning oil. (Shock horror I know)

Not sure for new age but mine I think was around €400 because the supplied braided line was no use to me
 
Could be an after wedding purchase at that price lol .probably worth it in the long run.will stick it on the to do list
 
i fit an oil catch can so il see if it starts filling up

if its still using and not filling the can then il know i have bigger problems
 
Use something cheap like an old 1 litre oil container , pipe the 2 heads and Center crank breathers into it and see if get anything .
 
If you have restriction of any form on the breather pipe work, that can cause oil usage... So you must keep the same diameter piping... Don't reduce the sizes....
 
yeah I matched the pipe diameter so it dosnt restrict airflow.

ive done a good few km's with it now and its still using.(more than is in the catch can)

I just failed the nct on emissions also. so like baz was saying the oil burning isn't helping that.

im going to get a new lambda for starters to get it through the test. then when I get a chance il investigate further.
