Speedo not working

more likely the cable is gone, rather than the speedo. if you pop the clocks out, just drive the car forward abit and see if the cable is turning. also check it hasn't just popped put at the back of the clocks :thumbsup:
 
thanks again folks!!! iv checked that it hasnt just popped out so must be more than that!!!

any1 any idea how much a cable costs and how id get the ecu reset

That was my old car, and I seem to be cursed with this issue as its happened twice, once on that car, I think the issue is a small piece to connects the cable to the box?? Not very technically minded, easy fix, chaddy fixed mine before for 45 yo yos. Automania that is!
 
a two piece cable from subaru is 80 euros...i had to get one a few weeks back....

Speedo cable was snapped and the ecu had gone into safe mode!!!
