Restoring Richard Hammond's Subaru from The Grand Tour

Is the centre diff not auto on these or did that option come later. As he mentions having a adjust it later when more used to the car.
 
530hp twin scroll would be sharp , too sharp for most , some howl of her .
Hammond enjoyed the maiden spin which was great to watch ,
It’s hard to beat the feeling a Subaru gives .

One thing he should of maybe went for a set of Bilstein coilovers , the dampers would be a lot better quality, you can get the bc setup fairly well but they are a budget suspension
 
Loved the series and it does sound epic! I think they hit the sweetspot with the power delivery there for a road/track day car. Very impressive the work that the workshop did on the engine side I have to say.
