Project Restore the Legacy

So as it states . I'm taking this Free Subaru legacy I got as close to factory settings as possible ,luckily I've started with a car that has everything that came from the dealership with it. No rips or tears in the seats no bad stains no bad floor wearing . All original interior and exterior so first step this week is to do full detail on the paint with a proper cut and de tar and take all the crap off the paint to do a full assessment. Then il decides if it's better to get it painted or to just wrap it with White wrap which I have in my shed already . Then is to clean the interior and remove all the tints as they are old and bubbled . Then replace the oil sump gasket and the plugs and filters .

OK so she's in the shed now tucked away from the rain il start work this weekend on it give it a good go over and see what's what and im sure il have 5 million questions about things but least she's in a dry shed now next to my other baby the car under the cover is My astra coupe convertible 2002 1.8 had it for 12 years and drive it in the summer she's got a lot of special edition parts on it but this isn't the place for a run down on her.

What would be peoples thoughts reactions if I was to wrap this car . In white so itl keep the factory paint protected but yet itl look brand new I have white wrap in the shed at the moment but was wondering if it's frowned upon or anything like that

I was going to wrap the Astra but I stopped and took it off as I didn't like the idea of having it white and having the door sills and under the convertible lid a diff color so took it all off . So might wrap the Legacy I'd say itl look pretty good .

Sure if you've got the wrap there already and can do it yourself, you may as well wrap it (y)

Nice evening for a bitta scooby work . Cleaned off the bonnet to see the paint still in pretty decent condition but over all its better to wrap it than paint it as the bumpers look like the where already prepped for paint.

Removed the tints off the rear drivers side and the rear window the fumes from the adhesive where crazy had to pop a mask on while removing but looks so much cleaner now il do the last 2 on the other side tomorrow needed a heat gun a blade and nitro mors to get the adhesive off and some window polish to make it shiney. Removed the rear brake light to get all the little bits out from behind it . Nice to see it was also still genuine Subaru light still in it . Interior is so spotless it's a shame to hide it behind ganky tints
