better half has a 1998 VW Polo for sale
its a 1.4 automatic with low miles
76k with tbelt done by previous owner at 72k iirc
does as it should, engine and box good
tyres good, mint interior
very economic to run and comfy with the auto
NCT till feb 2016 and taxed for another 2 months
€1000, reason for sale is he needs a bigger car for 120km/day commute

bad points:
the service indicator light flashes at start up. was not reset at last service (booo)
has age related marks, its not a minter on the outside
needs an aerial (15euro...) it fell off in the carwash
back wheel has a slight buckle

Hi Neelie,

To reset the service indicator on the Polo.... ignition off, press and hold mileage reset button on dash clocks... keep pressed and turn on ignition.... wait about 20 seconds with it pressed and should reset. Sometimes takes 2 goes before it does it ( turn off ignition before trying second time). Easy - and one less question / haggle point for buyer :thumb:

Ah wicked thanks ever so much!
Someone didn't know how to do it I suppose haha.
I'll do that tomorrow and edit my post :)
