jeez what a %^& of a job HaHaHa

First thing you need to do is scrub the calipers down as far back to bare metal as you can. Remember....a good paint finish is all in the prep work. This is my first attempt at painted calipers so its not perfect. I still have to paint the white SUBARU logo back on but I thought I'd put some pics up anyway.

I then needed to put my hand in a bucket of ice from all the scrubbing!

This is the first coat of paint applied. I did 3 coats altogether.

All finished except for the white SUBARU logo which i still have to do.

lookin well andy, like the tyre shine (for the photos of course)

car is mint as usual

Did the same to my old wagon. Painting the subaru white can be tricky, needs a very steady hand if you use a brush.
I put very thin layer of white paint on a toilet roll insert and rolled it across the raised subaru sign. Rolled once let it dry,
rolled again let and then again till i was happy. Any bits you miss touch up with a brush.

Where'd you get those grooved disc's Dermo?
Look the business.
Want to fit some when the pads are due to be done

thanks for all the comments lads.

Dermo, thats a great idea. I think I will try that myself when I get around to doing the white bits.

Sometimes it pays to watch Blue Peter
Got the discs on ebay.
The end result looked great behind a set of gold alloys.
Recommend this simple mod!
