They pass nct with that code as far as I know

They used to, but an engine light is a fail these days.

If it is a non turbo you cannot

From what I've been reading, it seems it's possible if your ECU is a Denso?

If you want to fix the code then Secondary air pumps need to be replaced (second hand) or maybe refurbished (think there is someone in Poland doing it maybe Google would know

The advice I've seen has said you need to replace the whole system for it to work out, and that's a pain of a job, especially on a car I might only keep for a year or two...

Yeah the denso
Non turbo has Hitachi
Unless JDM which has a mitsubishi Ecu
I thought they scanned and it wasn't one of the fails
I know foresters that have passed previously so just check that to be sure
Hardly another code (02 sensor maybe) as well as the secondary air pump ones
Did it fail the nct on the pumps?
