is what it is what my better half said as well, we didnt clean the engine after it was replaced a little while back, just made me panic a bit hehe,

funny thing is we normally do them our self was just because of all the other recent work I send it up for a check

Solved.

engine clean was old oil. ignition leads changed and new spark plugs

yes .. looks verrry like cv grease .. the way its sprayed up the steering knuckle .
