Oil boiler not working

Sister in law her boiler has packed up only 2 years old

sometimes the filters get blocked and need cleaning , dirty job , not difficut

Pumping black smoke and tripping out after an hour

Mine was at same last year got it serviced was ok till last week now it stays running but doesn't seem to be firing

sounds like it need to be cleaned and serviced injector half blocked or so

I do, Run out of oil lately?
Could have turned the pressure screw on the pump up instead of opening the bleed nipple .

She's running rich , get her mapped lad ....


At 2 year old something very simple wrong

I've had trouble with the probe on mine, getting covered in carbon (she might need to be mapped baz). Remove the cover there's a black cable onto a probe which pulls straight out. Clean her off with a drop of whiskey an the burner should fire as normal.

If the photo cell is acting up they usually wont stay lit. Black smoke is unburnt fuel.
