jus wonderin how much your average service should cost or any prices for parts jus to give a lad an idea, ie brembo pads etc etc
 
100 euro.....for oil yeah...then plugs 65,filter 10,pads depends wat you put in fuel filter 24..as general service done by yourself with good oil,etc cost bout..200 id say.. :ponder:

wipers replaced for that ;) ;)

I reckon at a garage you'd expect to pay anywhere
from €250/300 upwards .

castrol Magnetec - €25
sparks - €30
oil filter - about €7 or something
mintex pads - €40
2 x Kyb front shocks - €175 each

best friend works in a motor factors, gets the stuff without VAT and a 40% discount :D

I used to get my Scooby serviced in Eddie Garry's in Waterford for Eur 99.00 all in!

That was for a general service not involving changing pads or spark plugs. Basically it was an oil and filter change plus a diagnostic check.

Got my Ford transit connect van serviced by ford till the warrenty ran out.
350 for standard service.
B*@tards charged me for windscreen wash and when a studied the bill at home, was charged for 7 litres of engine oil and it takes 4.5 litres.

last time my car was serviced it cost me €15  :D oil & filter change and check over brakes bushings etc. and diagnostic  :nana:
 
Just serviced mine over the weekend.

e65 plugs
e65 for oil. Bougth 8litres magnatec. Only way I could get proper qty.
e8 for oil filter and bung washer
e27 for air filter

Next service will cost feck all. Just the oil filter. Pads and belts are ok for now
 
i went to hb dennis where i bouth the car and was quoted 275 euros for the service for the 07 2 ltr went back to get a quote for the 1.6 00 and they wanted 950 euros :ponder:
 
I was recommended by the garage to change the timing belt at my next service 60,000.

Is this important to do?

I hope they provided grab handles and a pot of KY for that price. As I said Eddie Garry will do it for 99 yo yo and he is the biggest main dealer in Ireland.
