My 1995 Wagon, just failed the test yesterday.
Low idle Engine Temp Oil Temp Limits on Year
(620 rpm) C0 0.06 vol% above 0.50% pass
Hc 12 ppm above 0 ppm N/A
High Idle Lambda 1.04 not between 0.97 and 1.03 fail
(2,950 rpm) Co 0.21 vol% above 0.30% pass
HC 17 ppm above 200 ppm pass
Previous years test below:
Low idle Engine Temp Oil Temp Limits on Year
(630 rpm) C0 0.26 vol% above 0.50% pass
Hc 118 ppm above 0 ppm N/A
High Idle Lambda 1.02 not between 0.97 and 1.03 pass
(2,950 rpm) Co 0.13 vol% above 0.30% pass
HC 38 ppm above 200 ppm pass
I sealed up an exhaust leak the day before the test, plus the centre is only down the road, 10 minute it drive.
Would a fuel additive and a warmed up engine help me get thru for another year
