My Money Pits

Hey guys and gals,

Long time lurker said I better introduce my money pits.

96 V2 RA - Just in from Japan, 160km solid car. Factory Sport bumper, Teins, SSR's rest is pretty stock. Plan here is return to stock front end, full Group A exhaust, set of 2013C's, needs rear bumper repaint, probably a small tune and enjoy. This is a keeper.

90 Legacy Turbo GT - A well travelled car that I picked up in Tennessee at start of Covid before the JDM boom in the states. Sat in a dealership for 18 months and spotted it on the net one night while browsing car porn and couldn't resist. This is a GT version so 4wd Turbo with an Auto box, a refined version of the RS. 90k km and a very solid car, has few typical JDM mods like Turbo Timer, boost gauge etc. It has a Nur Spec copy exhaust and Bishops put and full stainless system on it but loved the look of the rear box so kept it. Car has a full leather interior and is generally a great cruiser, not big on power but sounds great and always gets attention. Recent 2 stage paint correction will JC Autocare has it looking back to it's best. Contemplating a manual conversion as I've all the trims etc as well as a power increase but also in two minds about keeping it stock.
Another keeper but I've had some serious offers for this one doubling my initial purchase cost.

Finally 90 Legacy GL 1.8. - Very special car this with only 27k miles from new. Malta car I imported back end of last year the car can only be described as mint ( well overused expression but in this case its correct). I believe its a one owner car that was only used at weekends and garaged rest of the week as there's no sun damage at all on it. Bog standard car with all bit's working as they should. Again another impulse purchase when I seen the condition while browsing one Sat morning. Rims wouldn't be a big hit with me but there not the worst I've seen and only other small issue is the carb needs a rebuild, issue on choke and some over fueling. This one will go for sale as I've another few cars in the pipeline and was only bought with intention of moving it on at some stage as well as testing the process from importing from Malta.
