My 2005 Subaru Impreza Sti Spec C Type Ra On the Way from Japan

Well i won this car at japanese auctions about a month or so back and said i would throw up a thread on here .

2005 Sti Spec C Type Ra (Hawk) , 98K Klms , Grade 4B ,With Original Subaru Owners Manuals & Case and Previous Shaken Documentation.

It should have been Grade 4.5 only for it went through an auction house that is know for being a little more strict with the grading but thankfully this is in my favour as it helped me pick it up without breaking my budget too much :thumbsup:

The Car went to auction 7 Times , Each time it did not meet its Reserve Price and each time i was the highest bidder but yet even when it went to negotiations after the bidding had ended he would not accept my offer from my Agent , So after the car been in the auction house over 7 weeks he had finally came down a bit with his reserve after i nearly gave up and i was the highest bidder on the 8th Go thankfully :icon_grin:


Only Modifications to the car Are:
Sti Genome Backbox
17 Inch Rays Ce28N Forged Wheels In Silver

I Have Some parts already there to go onto it but hopefully she gets to Ireland safe and sound First .

If you dont mind me asking, how much will that be after VRT with the shipping and everything?

Thanks man , To be honest id like to keep that under the covers , but im happy with the price its fair for the quality of the car .

The agent i used would have no problem discussing with you the average costs of what your looking at all in including vrt and taxes ect if you where to tell him what car you wanted and expectations of condition and milage you would like to keep it under , I Used Japan Cars Ireland and i Couldn't Recommend Him Enough as i explained above we had a hard enough job to win the car and to keep around my budget but he done a great job and very honest chap , He will get you all details on any car you see in auctions and translations on the auction sheets and has a agent based in japan to check the cars pre auction to make sure that the car is as described as auction sheet explains and other things.

Thanks , ETA Is Mid January I Think , Fingers crossed she isnt delayed ill be going off the wall waiting :wall:

Fair play, its exciting enough waiting for car parts deliveries, can only imagine what its like waiting on a whole spec c to arrive in the post!!!!!!!! All the best with the new car.
 
Super stuff. I've seen that car Knocking around the auctions...beautiful example. She's two litre isn't she? All the jdm ones are..is that correct?
