Well, after much persuasion from Ciaran WRX, I've finally got going on a blog for the car. It arrived 1 year and 1 day ago to be exact. Car was sourced through JDMauctionwatch who I'd highly recommend. Patrick was a joy to deal with, detailed pics and regular updates on shipping/delivery. Car was grade 3.5 and just over 100,000km

Once the car arrived it went straight for service. Car got new clutch and flywheel, timing belt was also done along with usual service and fluids. Not long after that I felt a vibration under braking so replaced front disks, calipers and pads. This car is my daily so just looking to make sure its mechanically perfect. After that it was booked in with Aonghus in AP performance for mapping. This was by far the best thing I done to the car. I drove to Galway from Dublin and the car ran very well. But after leaving AP, it was a different car. Mapped at 293bhp and pulling like train, could not recommend this man enoughπŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œ

Since then not much to report. I've put 20,000km on the car in 12 months and it hasn't missed a beat. Regular servicing and horrific petrol prices has been the only impact on the wallet. Next on the list is some cosmetic work, legacy logo came off the rear and removed some paint so booked in to repaint that next week. Machine polish after that and then hopefully just many more happy miles. My previous car was also a beautiful Legacy from a previous club member so hoping to have my car to that level very soon. @Ciaran WRX I hope you're happy now that I've finally done my blogπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Stunning car, I had a silver one which I ran for 3 years as a daily and never missed a beat, yours looks great with the leather seats and sports exhaust,

It made great power also after remap, enjoyπŸ‘

Little early Christmas present to myselfπŸ‘Œ Have to say the JDM distro lads are great to deal with. The Blitz bov and springs are brand new. Spotted the used HKS filter and then found a spare filter brand new to go with it it too. Shipped to the door within 2 weeks

Had the car in for wheel refurb last week. Wheels were looking really tired so was keen to get them sorted. Went to Wheel Wizards in Finglas (thanks Ciaran WRX for the recommendation). Work was top notch and really well priced! Would definitely recommend them. Decided to make the most of the good weather this week and attack a few other bits. Splitter was cracked and the lack of grill behind the front bumper was a real eyesore so got that sorted. Even managed to throw a bucket of water over the car as wellπŸ˜‚ couple more things off the never-ending list of things to be done😁

Cheers Ciaran! It's the old school Legacy "L" logo. They never actually made it for this model as far as I know. I reversed the grill mesh last year so it sits behind the grill so lobbed it on then. it's only a sticker though, anyone selling the actual badge let me knowπŸ˜‰
