My 2003 T-Sport Celica

Fair play lad that will be a great job when finished. Polybush and roll bars make a huge difference.
Also baffled sump is great peace of mind for the engine

The sump is actually in there since day one. Just said I'd take it off for a look when i had it drained anyway. Small trace of milky oil on the bottom of the sump. But no lumps of metal in there at least!

I like that Veilside bumper, I wonder how the airflow and cooling compares to stock bumper. I didn't know Veilside made bits for Toyota.

At the rear bushings today. Safe to say they needed changing!!!! Every bolt in the rear subframe seized. Replacing them all now. Should make tracking and set up easier at least!

Went at the bumper i picked up a few weeks ago. It was rough as hell. Filled the cracks and sanded it all down. Have the primer on now waiting for the base coat to go on. Came up well. Good enough for a track car anyway. The standard bumper was very plain. This is just purely for the fun of it!

Some great work there Martin. Them bushings will make a huge difference. Love seeing the progress going into this car. Coming near a time where a cage would not only improve it overall, but Certainly make it safer as you get faster:)

As much as I'd love too work wouldn't allow it. I work shift and lots of weekends etc so just couldnt fit it in. That's why mid week track days suit me... If i can get this bus to the 2min mark ill be happy! That's another 3 seconds!!!! After that ill consider selling it and moving to something light but turbo charged. Maybe....

2mins is definitely in you and the car. The cage would help with rigidity along with the safety side. Not sure what tires your using but the AO50 are a pretty decent tyre and could help get you to that 2min Mark. Everyone aims a 2mins then go nuts looking to go faster.. me included [emoji23]

Im going all out this time to hit it. 2.03 is my quickest. I have soft compound rally tyres for the rear which seem to work fine. I know have a set of 15inch slicks for the front. Those, with the poly bushes, anti roll bars, drop links and a few other bits I'm.hoping I'll get there!

3 seconds is a big chunk of time over a lap but your going the right way around finding it.

Sprayed the bumper myself from blue to red. Halfords rattle cans but fine out for a track car! And of course the 20bhp hoonigan sticker!!! ????

All the rear subframe bolts were seized so got a full new set. Will make setting up rear camber and toe etc a lot easier!
