We were only say thats all, sometimes its not worth the hassle and its better to just pay someone to look at it and then you'll sleep better at night..
 
Get your fuel pressure checked, very simple on a Scooby, could be a dodgy regultaor, when it goes up and down on the rev can you here the pump rise and drop?
