Looking for first hand experiances of chaging from Top mount to a Front mount!

Has anyone just changed from top mount to front mount with no other mods??
Maybe going from a mapped standard car to a front mount and remap??
Can you please let me know how it drove??
Throttle responce, lag, later spool any differances at all??

hey dan, i just fitted a front mount to my car, to be honest there wasn't really anymore lag, the only noticeable thing was it was very jerky at low revs, but i have sent the car for mapping this week and i will let ya know how it drives after it,

Dan, never really done it without a map, but have heard and would beleive that car is horrible in town etc etc, also have been told that there is fok all in difference of lag, only issues would be with the smaller turbo imprezas.. but i would expect a vf28 up turbo wouldnt be bad for lag

it needs to be mapped for fmic :thumbsup:
 
Should be mapped for a front mount.

Although know a member that has on the last year or so and sure its not mapped.

Wouldnt recommend it though

No serious its just the same I dont see a difference but with better sounds what puts a grin on my face. :icon_biggrin:

Probably be different for Jp from the power he is pushing out doe. :dontknow:
