Legacy, Outback & Impreza recall notice - Fuel Pumps

Legacy & Outback 2004 - 2009.
Impreza 2008 - 2010.

Cars being recalled due to fuel pump control harness overheating and melting, resulting in fuel pump failure. Resulting in engine stalling, unable to start, accident risk increased as it has been occurring while vehicle in motion.

521 cars affected in Ireland and Subaru Ireland will send out a letter to have them rectified.

Interesting. Is there a way of finding out if your car is on the list other than waiting on a letter? Always feel like JDM versions are left behind for recalls.

You should be able to call any Subaru main dealer service department and give them your chassis number and they can check straight away.
