Jap vs uk/eu car differences

Hi all. Ok so I bought myself a set of coilsovers that came off a 1999 GC8 and mine is a 2000 gc8. Front shocks fitted no problem but the back ones don't line up with the top mount holes. My car is a Jap import and the the other one is a UK car. Is there a difference between the 2 and can one buy the top base plate separately? They a couple of mm different. 20210909_174519.jpg20210909_174459.jpg

As above rears are probably for newage as when you go to bolt them in1 bolt will be off a bit. The studs on the newage top hats are different, best thing to do compare them to your old top shock mounts

But wouldn't a 99 model and a 00 model be the same?

00 could have been gd fitment Bug Eye I'd say
Gd impreza = newage
Check part numbers on the manufacturers website of the new ones or Google it you should see what apication it is for that way I'd say
All classics the same so most likely newage

What make are coilovers?
Just be careful of very cheap coilovers as they will ruin the ride .
You could check the manufacturers website to see if they sell them separately, I know Bc racing sell all the bits separate you could possibly use bc if the thread on the damper is the same
