I think it has some nice touches like the door handles and wheels but they have designed it like a Gt racer with wide track and rear diffuser and Hugh rear spoiler, that's not a car people are going to drive every day which results in small sales which leads to them holding there value and the real petrol heads not getting a chance to buy one.

All they needed and they have been told this by every car review in the world, is that it needs more power, it has a great classic so put a turbo or super charger on and make some sales, everyone happy.

Think your spot on the money there johnny. But was a new sti ever accessible to the ordinary man . Like 60 plus thousand for any hatch or hawk new back in the day .

I like it looks mean,how that front bumper would go over speed ramps I don't know but the rest looks great I think.
seen one in town the other day looks class but the wheels look lost on it

I agree, but in the UK it was only 30k sterling, but this shitehole of a country we get raped on anything motor related.

I hate to talk about the UK market as we don't leave there but this is the only way I see this car coming to Ireland, when it hits 5/10 years old and people can afford it and most importantly, WANT it.

If they relise the above sti it will cost a small fortune with totally different body to the original, they need to keep it simple, and cost effective, so the average joe can afford one, standard brz is €40 k, this will be €60k, it's ridiculous.

Bolt on a supercharger like what Litchfield did and sell for €45 and watch the sales fly

40 k is far 2 much imo for effectively a 2 seater sports car . It's more of a 30k car I reckon due to its limited practicality and the number of people in the market for such a car . If it were in the 30 to 35 k bracket i personally would think of buying one and as you say put a supercharger on it .

How did they go from first few to this pig?
