@ colm ye i knew it was something simple and stupid although expensive
@ dec i know its the only way to go even if it is an outrageous price i will order off japnese import parts its considerably cheaper than the dealer it is only 198£ from them as opposed to 280£ from the dealer so if going to check with the dealer i think i'll be sitting down

On a classic v5/6 every few years is advisable
