Galway Rally

Yes Donnely stufed his new S 12 on the penultimate stage but up to that point there was no one able to live with him (apart from Gronholm of Course!).

The rest of the Irish pack will have to seriously up their pace to catch him this year. On the international rallies Mark Higgins would keep him honest though. It's going to be a great year for Irish Rallying, maybe the best ever although I thought crowd control was a bit crap in Galway compared to say Killarney and that wouldn't look well for the WRC organizers unless they have it ironed out by November.

Agree with there Frawls,

Nothing to touch Donnellythis year, where i was on stage 1, it was nearly cancelled

because 2 spectator cars were parked less than the 200m run-off needed.

Cant really blame the spectators as they were parked behind the tape.

At one stage there were 6/7 safety officers stopped on the stage and one had to go back down

along the stage with the reg. numbers. Was just cleared as the 000's were due.

How would that have looked as regards good organisation.
