Popped along to Dundrum with the girlfriend to see Solomon Kane this evening, thought it was fooking brilliant...she even liked it, some cool fight scenes and a good story to it aswell...comes recommended.

I understand some people didn't like as there isn't a lot of action...but its a real story and it wasn't promoting war at all just telling a story about the poor fcukers who have to live that life...thats what I enjoyed most about it most American films are trying to ram some message down your throat Glad it got the nod over that blue people cartoon james cameron bullsh!t

I thought it was woeful. You've got cardboard cut out characters, the crazy guy, straight guy, new guy. The crazy hero runs around doing completely stupid things and never gets hurt. People around them get shot with pinpoint accuracy, but these guys can stop in the exact same spot, have a drink. But same people who were dead accurate a minute ago now can't hit them at all. Its like the A team with out the van. No story, no plot, some stupid parts in the movie, like why did he follow that boy to the Professors house? I thought it was totally overrated anyway.

i didnt watch the last 10 or 15 min, i dont think itl change my view on it.
i couldnt see any story in it.
and it was only promoting yanks are the good guys (as usual) coming in disarming bombs that wouldnt be there, if they werent there in the first place.
watch sicko and see what they really should be spending there money on.....anyway thats politics.
