Ford has confirmed that its iconic Fiesta model will be dropped next year after 46 years on sale.

The brand’s once best-selling supermini is being axed as the brand "accelerates" its plans to become fully electric.

The Fiesta first arrived in 1976 and Ford has now produced more than 22 million examples of this supermini across nine generations.

Yeah Ciaran my old man @74 is gutted!

He’s been asking to buy another ST3 the last year..
no dealer would do trade in value etc.. even buying with cash.

then was rear ended last month at Lidl (Marley park.. 8k damage..!!)

Only driven his one but… they are a super little car and any petrol head should have a spin of the full fat ST3 Fiesta!

That 3 pot turbo engine etc etc.. is just some crack 😀

Like a Williams Clio/106Gti it cocks a rear wheel..!!

Your dad in it though… if he owns it… really won’t feel the same effect..!! 🙈😳

St Fiesta brilliant car mate had a revo one excellent car.

My dad no never had one.
