Exhaust question

Can anyone tell me if a version 6 sti cat back exhaust would fit a version 8 sti
Or would it need slight modification to make it fit ? Just woundering as I spotted one for sale
But don't think it be worth buying if it needs to be modified to fit . Any info be great . Thanks

As far as i know it should fit but one of the hangers needs to be modified ,

If its off a jdm version 8 it will fit no bother but if it's a uk it will have a shorter centre section and a longer downpipe where as the jdm uze the same length exhaust sections as a classic all back boxes are the same but 1 hanger will not ve used as its the wrong way round
