thanks guys..great help....
think i'd be more interested in gettin pros to do it...didnt realise it would be that steep
want it spankin for scoobyfest if i can

I think thats reasonable, all the products they use and time involved.

Probably take an average guy the day just for the wheels, they do the wheels, restore the paint,2 coats wax, seal the wheels and paint twice in a day

so if we all start doing our own cars now we'll get them done by sso.

i put a lot off effort into getting my car looking the best every few days i cant even stand dust on the car i usually throw a damp shami over it every second day.

going out now to give it a wash and wax so will post up the out come tonight and products i use.

i dont think i'd be able to hand over that kind off money just for a car wash and i know how much effort and stuff they do to the car but still couldnt.

yeah could ya imagin

i wash my car twice a week using cif

I use
Wash the car with whatever shampoo i have at the time, usually Turtle wax shampoo and Meguairs MF wash mitt
Clean alloys and tyres with sponge
Rinse the car off with jet wash
Let the heavy water drain off.
Use a silicone blade on the windows to wipe off excess water, leaves them streak/spot free.
Use silicone blade to wipe excess water of the rest of the body work.
Spray the tyres with Son of a gun back to black
AutoGlym car glass polish on the windows
AutoGlym Ultra deep Shine polish on the bodywork, apply with MF cloths and buff off, do one side at a time.

The ultra deep shine polish really brings out the colour and dark paints. The car could still do with a good paint restoration. as a lot of swirl marks etc that the polishing wont remove. Might look into getting an orbital polisher and doing it myself.

Lads,

You should try Autosol Metal Polish on your exhaust
You will never see it shine as much and it also removes all the carbon
